All ebay imports are going into one catagory only

Everything that is imported goes into one catagory on the booth and it will also put free shipping on items that are not meant for free shipping.

The eBay importer cannot discriminate your custom booth categories. The importer can only place them into corresponding main categories (which is why 99% – if not 100% of the main categories are the same on eBay and Bonanza). You will have to manually assign your items to your custom booth categories. You do that with the Batch Editor. Or, you can use automatic assignment to booth categories. That is based on the keywords in your title and description. It is not as accurate as manually assigning items to booth categories.

As far as shipping, if you are using calculated shipping, you need to enter the weight of the item into the listing. You can do that with the Batch Editor also. Bonanza can’t assign shipping values without knowing the weight of the item (package). By default, without weight information assigned to the item, the importer may assign $0.00 for shipping, which it interprets as FREE shipping. If you use FIXED shipping costs, then the shipping costs are imported correctly.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
