Part of the "Characters from Life" Collection, this Royal Doulton Character Jug D6878 depicts “The Baseball Player” in a white jersey and blue hat. Designed by Stanley J. Taylor. Approximately 4 inches high (about 10 cm).
This jug was issued in a Special Limited Edition of just 500 jugs “Produced Exclusively for Britannia, Ltd., Doulton Convention, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, January 1991.” The only one now listed for sale with this rare backstamp.
EXCELLENT CONDITION: no chips, cracks, repairs, scuffs or crazing. "Like new" but no box.
