Item description for Vintage Long Black Opera Gloves Western Germany Rhinestones Beads

This is a lovely pair of ladies formal gloves that are still with the original bag marked “Wear Right Gloves” Made in Western Germany. They are embellished with little silver stud like beads and multi-color rhinestones and I think they are cotton. They measure approximately 14 ½ inches long from the finger tips to the top of the cuff and the 5 ¼ inches across at the widest point when the glove is lying flat. There is no size marked on the inside of the gloves, but I am guessing 7 or 7 ½. My hand is 7 ½ inches long and they fit me just fine. My hand width from the base of the fingers is 3 inches across. I believe these are from the 1950s to 1960s, but I am guessing.

These are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs and look like they have never been worn (except for when I put one glove on to take the photograph). The stitching is all secure. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe. This is a final sale as I cannot guarantee that the size will fit your hands and they could easily be damaged if forced to fit.

These would be great for the holidays or any formal occasion. A little bit fancier than a pair of plain black gloves for New Year’s Eve! They would look beautiful framed for your vintage fashion display, perfect in any Shabby Chic décor room. This would make a wonderful advertisement piece in a vintage boutique framed on the wall above a case filled with vintage gloves. They are quite eye-catching.
