The box is 5 3/8" long, 3 1/2" wide 1 1/4" deep.The top is stamped Jamestown, VA. (the old abbreviation places it 1964 or earlier) and on the back is stamped made in U.S.A. with the # 24. The top right corner has a cameo with a black base and white raised features of a woman's head. The hinges are good and the top opens and closes fine.
