My kitchen (and budget!)is small and my style is country casual so it was hard to find something that was low price, quality construction and not acrylic; this product and the way it is made fit the bill perfectly! The cabinet I was installing it under has an extra support running through the middle of the cabinet (it's a large corner cabinet) so the fact that the holder had a full size board to attach it to the underneath meant I had to add a couple small blocks of wood to the underside of the cabinet before installing the unit but that wasn't difficult. The little light that comes with it requires a screw to hold it in place that didn't come with the kit; but I found one in my junk drawer that did the job just fine. I LOVE the fact that it has locking mechanisms to keep it closed; I can actually leave the cookbook in place and close the unit in between the prep and 'plate it' steps!
