While dour economists predict that recession is near, we predict more good times ahead in the future, starting with the announcement that your top two most requested features are now ONLINE! "Woo hoo!" (Combined Shipping Discounts (CSD) Now Online Go to Sell -> Advanced Options and take a looksie where the dumb CSD used to be. You will find a new and improved setup of CSD that mirrors what (ahem) "other" popular marketplace sites have successfully used with their sellers. You can now setup a variety of CSD types per your taste. These discounts will be applied automatically when a buyer visits their cart, so "Buy Now" suddenly becomes a more viable option for sellers that were previously using counteroffers to get buyers a reasonable rate on combined item shipping. We still don't have customized "Shipping Profiles," but you can always setup additional booths in the meantime if you have a large volume of inventory where some items should use one CSD policy and other items should use a different policy.
WYSIWYG Editor Now Online
Many sellers had lamented the size and difficulty of editing HTML for the text box on the new item form. But lament no more, perfectionistic seller, for Bonanzle now offers the option to switch to a bigger WYSIWYG editor for creating your item description. After there are a few lines (or a few hundred characters) into your item description, a box will pop up on the new item form that gives you the option to switch to "full screen edit" mode. (Actually, I don't remember if that's exactly what the box says... it's something like that.) Personally, I'm just as happy not using HTML in my items, so I hope that the simple-loving sellers amongst you don't feel guilty not using HTML in your item descriptions. But I know there are many who feel HTML helps showcase their item in important ways (as evidenced by the numerous votes for this feature), so this feature should give them a nice, built-in way to get that showcased look and feel. Let us know if you experience any anomalous behavior with these new features. We also made a bunch of improvements to the UI of the cart, based on the questions and feedback we received from buyers. I danced my fingers over to “Apply shipping discount, add $1.00 to the price of each item shipped” and in one click all was right in my world. All good things to you Bill, my faith in the chefs currently cooking the quantum soup of mankind’s possibility is restored!
There are 24 hours in a day, and sometimes think Bill is awake all of them. Enhancements just keep happening! Was pleasantly surprised earlier in the day when we listed some items. We are thoroughly convinced of your commitment to Bonanzle! Thanks!

I do have a further question, though. (sorry, it’s long!)
I’m going to use Priority Mail for everything, since it takes way, way too long using Media Mail. So basically it’s going to be the flat-rate envelope (FRE), the flat-rate box (FRB), or the large flat-rate box (LFRB). If someone purchases a single item in the FRE, I would love for them to simply Buy-It-Now. If they want to buy more than one item, it would be great to be able to send them a Custom Invoice.
The reason is that sometimes more than one item can fit into the FRE, and sometimes it’s full, that’s it. Same with the FRB and LFRB (boy, typing those acronyms are challenging…keep mistyping them for some reason).
Also, I’ll have some “lots” of books, so if a buyer wants to purchase more than one, sometimes another book can fit into one package, or sometimes another “lot” can fit, or sometimes it will have to be bumped to the next size box, etc., etc. So the extra $ per additional item doesn’t work for me. The ability to create a Custom Invoice in those instances would be Perfect!!
I haven’t opened my booth yet, because I can’t figure out the best way to handle this (ok, besides not having enough inventory listed, let’s get real here, zb!!) Right now I have OBO across the board so that the buyer can offer and I can counteroffer, but I believe that means that even if they want one item only, they have to wait until I counteroffer before they can purchase. If they want only 1 item, the ability to Buy-It-Now would be perfect in this instance!!
One of the nice things I can say about you-know-where is that you have the option of either setting up a combined shipping policy and/or sending a custom invoice.
So…yep, Finally getting to the point…my Perfect Bonanzle World (PBW) would be for me to be able to take off the OBO on all the items, so a buyer would be able to Buy-It-Now if buyer only wants one item. If buyer is interested in a number of items, buyer could email me and I could send a Custom Invoice to them.
I **believe we can create a Custom Invoice through both Paypal and Google Checkout, but it would be sweet to have the ease and simplicity of creating one right here on Bonanzle.
Synopsis of message: Please, could you please put Custom Invoicing on your loooong to-do list, please, Bill?!!
By the way, just say the word, and you can go digging around in my former eB account any ol’ time!

I have one related request, can the Advanced Item Details be set to be displayed by default? That way folks can see the shipping terms right away, and also know that I have more than one of my items.
The details don’t take up that much more space when open and would provide valuable info to new buyers who don’t know to click on that triangle yet.

Good morning, I do like the full page editor but the “text color” and “background color” do not work.I assumed it was supposed to? I tried several different ways to get it to work!Also yesterday while trying to EDIT an already posted item…weirdly… I was in the item I wanted to edit, but images ,pics from another item were on the right upper where the clicks to upload images? Really scary. I backed out and started over.. What cold that have been?

Hello I also have a question on the custom cats. When I am posting items the drop down only gives selections: Clothing ….and second choice right side.. mens clothing or womens clothing.I sell mainly clothing and set up custom cats with dress shirt, mens jackets blazer coats outerwear.
So these custom cats do not show up as a selection when you are posting your items?
Seems to be so much better for a potential buyer to be able to look that way on a site rather than looking through all tshirts and other type shirts.Same for mens jackets, blazers and such.
The custom cats are just out there somewhere? or am I missing something/them?
