Hours of Trouble

Hola Bonanzlers! On behalf of the Bonanzle team, I'd like to apologize for the troubles that some had uploading booth pictures and figuring out our fees during the afternoon and evening of today.

In the event we should be unavailable in the future, Samantha will be all over them bugs.
Long story short: Bonanzle is being built by a (ahem... very) small team at this point, so despite our 6 day/week, 12+ hours/day schedule, there are still going to be clusters of hours where we are less able to be dispatched toward immediately fixing issues that arise. We ask for your patience during these interludes. In the time since Bonanzle's launch in early June, we have yet to have a period of more than an hour-ish where the site didn't load. To put that in perspective, AMAZON.COM's web services have had more downtime than we have had over the last few months. Think about their budget vs. ours, their team size vs. ours, and perhaps you begin to understand why we are so proud of what we've accomplished so far. Likewise, sometimes we will not be available to answer questions immediately. To this point, I think Bonanzle has been nothing if not a testament to the positive energy an Internet community can generate. But when that energy gets channeled into speculation, it becomes less useful. :) Be assured: If you have questions about Bonanzle policies, we will answer them. Should you speculate on the answers before we have time to answer them, chances are that others will speculate too, and as the Theory of Unfounded Speculation (TUS) dictates , eventually FUD overcomes reason and needless energy is wasted. That said, fees have now been clarified, custom booth pictures are again uploadable, and as usual, if you find other significant bugs, email support and they'll probably be fixed within a day or two. We do strive for perfection here, and when things aren't perfect, we're doing everything within our power to make them perfect, like, now. And now, back to our regularly schedule programming!

First off I want to give you and Mark a hearty pat on the back for all you’re hard work you have done to make this site such a refreshing place on the web!
Second, unfortunely…where there is a forum there is bound to be confusion and the occasional squabble. MANY of us here are here because this had gotten out of control on other sites. Thanks for jumping in to the forums from time to time to calm them down…
Everyone here must remember that forums can be read by potential buyers…please be helpful, state you views, but remember the others in the forums are real people with real feelings…and could possiably be your next customer!
Thanks for the Blog Bill…a great way to keep us up to date!

We look to any “interlude” time as an opportunity to promote the site. Thanks renegade for what you say about forum postings. No where else can you find a team that has built a first class selling and buying site, keeping sellers informed about change and asking for their input. We call that professional!

I just checked out the site saturday, got an email answer to my questions from Mark saturday night, joined today. If I was wanting to join “that other site” I’m coming from today, I’d still be reading the fine print a month from now. Looking forward to this site becoming the "top o’ the food chain.
Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to get back home and start my booth.
