The Fire Alarm Source is not an authorized reseller for any low voltage and life safety product brands. All products, including drop-shipped and surplus items, are sourced through third-party suppliers or excess inventory channels and are sold as-is, subject to the terms outlined in this policy. We strive to provide high-quality products, but we do not have direct affiliations or authorizations from the manufacturers of the brands we offer.

Refund Policy:
New and Unopened Products: Refunds are available for new, unopened fire alarm and life safety products, including drop-shipped and surplus items, purchased through The Fire Alarm Source’s dropshipping partners or directly from us within 30 days of the purchase date, subject to the supplier’s or our return policy.
Surplus Items: Surplus items (new, unused products from excess inventory) are eligible for refunds under the same conditions as new products, provided they are unopened and in their original packaging. Surplus items may have limited availability and are sold as-is, with specific return conditions noted at purchase.
Defective or Damaged Products: If a product arrives defective or damaged, you may request a refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt. Proof of defect (e.g., photos or videos) is required, and eligibility is subject to the supplier’s or our inspection.
Non-Returnable Items: Customized products, special orders, installed or used items, or products not in their original packaging with all included components (manuals, accessories, etc.) are not eligible for refunds unless defective, per the supplier’s or our terms.
Refund Process:
Contact Us: Initiate a refund by filing a return at Bonanza and contact us at thefirealarmsource@gmail.com within the 30-day period. We will coordinate with the dropshipping supplier.
Return Authorization: Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from the drop-shipping supplier. Returns without an RMA will not be accepted.
Return Shipping: Ship the product to the designated supplier’s return address within 14 days of receiving the RMA, using a trackable shipping method. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or damaged, in which case the supplier may cover costs (subject to their policy).
Inspection and Processing: The supplier will inspect the returned product. Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method, provided the product meets eligibility criteria.
Restocking Fee: A 15-20% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns, depending on the supplier’s policy.
Exceptions:
Supplier-Specific Policies: For drop-shipped products, refunds are subject to the specific policies of the supplier. The Fire Alarm Source will communicate these terms during the return process.
Surplus and Used Item Conditions: Surplus, new other, and used items are sold as-is, and refunds may be limited to defects or damage not disclosed at the time of purchase. Check product listings for specific terms.
Warranty Claims: Products under the supplier’s or our warranty (typically 1-5 years, depending on the product) may be eligible for repair or replacement instead of a refund. Contact us for warranty details.
Incorrect Orders: If an incorrect product is shipped, The Fire Alarm Source will coordinate with the supplier for drop-shipped items or handle surplus items directly to cover return shipping costs and provide a full refund or the correct item at no additional cost.
Order Processing:
Orders are processed within 1-5 business days by our dropshipping suppliers, depending on their processing times.
Orders placed after 4:00 PM EDT or on weekends/holidays will be processed the next business day by the supplier.
Shipping Methods and Costs:
Shipping is handled by the supplier, offering Standard Shipping (3-10 business days), Expedited Shipping (2-4 business days), or Overnight Shipping (1-2 business days) within the continental United States, depending on the supplier’s options.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the product weight, destination, and supplier’s selected shipping method.
Free standard shipping may be available on orders over $100 (excluding taxes and fees) to addresses within the continental U.S., if offered by the supplier.
Delivery Information:
Shipping Confirmation: You will receive a tracking number via Bonanza per policy and email once the supplier ships your order.
Delivery Timeframes: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to supplier processing, carrier delays, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Signature Requirement: Due to the critical nature of low voltage and life safety products, an adult signature may be required upon delivery for orders over $1000 to ensure secure receipt, per the supplier’s policy.
Undeliverable Packages: If a package is returned as undeliverable, we will coordinate with the supplier to confirm the address. Additional shipping fees may apply for re-delivery.
Shipping Restrictions:
No International Shipping: The Fire Alarm Source does not offer international shipping for drop-shipped or surplus products due to regulatory and compliance requirements for low voltage and life safety products.
No APO/FPO Shipping: We do not ship to APO or FPO boxes due to restrictions on hazardous materials and compliance with safety regulations.
Low voltage products may be subject to federal, state, or local regulations. Suppliers may restrict shipping to certain areas or PO boxes due to safety and compliance requirements.
Hazardous materials (e.g., batteries included with certain products) may have additional shipping restrictions or require special handling, as determined by the supplier.
Damaged or Lost Shipments:
Damaged Shipments: Inspect your package upon delivery. Report any damage within 48 hours of receipt to our customer service team. We will coordinate with the supplier for a replacement or refund.
Lost Shipments: If your order is lost in transit, contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with the supplier and carrier to locate the package or provide a replacement/refund.
