I have a set of dishes with one rose it and the sides are etched but no name how do i find out about them?

there is no markings on them but has that crackle apperance i know they are old even the cups are etched around the edges if anyone can give me some advice i would appreciate it i have looked at hundreds on patterns and still havent found them thanks

Could you post a picture? You know,a picture is worth a thousand words. Also, you could try looking at Replacements.com.I go there when there is a patttern that I’m wondering about. They have pictures of most of the patterns they carry.

I agree. Replacements.com is a good starting point. A photo here wouldnt hurt either. It just may be someones grandma set that they know very well.

Include one of the bottom even if it has no mark.
The crackling you are mentioning is probably crazing which is not an indicator of age, not saying your dishes are not old. Just saying that you can’t base age on crazing.
