Just curious if the Cabbage Patch craze left behind any rare ones to watch for… Any advice welcome… Thanks.

The early Cabbage Patch doll prior to 1983 were called the Little People. These are the most valuable if in pristine condition, IMO.
Regarding the later dolls, I’d watch for the special editions in their boxes with paperwork. Complete dolls, especially special editions, will bring the best price in todays market.

Great question here!
The first edition of Little People came out in 1978. 0lder editions could possibly be worth $400 +.

I agree with the earlier posters.
I know someone that was recently searching for an AA bald boy doll in excellent shape, but I’m not sure if that’s a popular type of Cabbage Patch Kid or not :)

I had a cabbage patch doll from the 80’s, which was my daughters. I put it up for sale, can’t remember if I sold it!

Wow. Haven’t thought about them in years. However I do remember how difficult they were to get. Radio stations were using them as prizes. I had a friend who really wanted one and I ended up making it.

What got me thinking about them was a little 1984 mini cabbage patch kid that I found in an abandoned farmhouse that I’m sure if it were worth something I would have found it with a Google search but had no such luck. Thanks for the tips!
