Is Blue Jasper ware or another color item by WEDGWOOD something expensive to collect?

Monty, all the Wedgwood items I’ve seen are made in United Kingdom (UK). Some say it is affiliated with Doulton and Waterford since the 1990s.
I like the green because it appears to be unique compared to the blue. I am sure there are quite a few online but I do not see alot at antique stores. Wondering if it is becoming rare?
Have you seen the darker ones?
I rarely see the dark ones anywhere. I’ve seen Urns in color brown and quite pricey!
Anyway, good luck with your continued research.

My quick check over on the Dark Side’s “completed auctions” indicates that the black Jasperware, and some of the very rare blue pieces are still selling, although they are not bringing the prices they once commanded. There are literally hundreds of Jasperware items getting no bids or interest at all.
Much of Wedgewood, Waterford, Rosenthal and other brands are now being produced in Indonesia, as well as other international locations. I can’t say for sure where the Jasperware is currently being produced.
Like so many things, right now is such a good time to collect, if you love collecting; the prices are very depressed and there are a lot of bargains out there. If you’re wanting to sell, that’s another matter. Hard to find pieces will still bring decent money, but more common items will go begging.
Good luck with your research!

I sold a Wedgwood plate for $85.00. They sell well. Make sure it’s Wedgwood without the e. (Not Wedgewood).
