I have this Figurine about 8 inches tall. I do Glass and Jewelry but am stumped with any kind of Ceramics. Is she worth anything or just junk? Would anyone know here age. Also if you were listing it would it go under Art Pottery or what category?

WOW, one almost just like this on eBay for $85.00! Don’t think I will be listing mine for anywhere close to that!

The Goldscheider family operated a pottery in Vienna for many generations before seeking refuge in the United States following Hitler’s invasion of their country. They settled in Trenton, New Jersey, in the early 1940’s where they established a new corporation and began producing objects of art and tableware items. In 1946 Marcel Goldscheider established a pottery in Staffordshire where he manufactured bone china figurines, earthenware, etc., marked with a stamp of his signature. Larger artist-signed examples from either location are very valuable.
I don’t see this particular piece, and the antique book I’m looking in was published in 1994, but pieces from this manufacturer range from $55.00 to $7,700.00

Don’t know the brand, and found zilch at Replacements.com. I bet if you Google her you will hit on something. She’s quite nice.
