I would like to hold an auction but have no idea how to go about doing it. Could someone please help me out by telling me what I need to do? Thank you in advance!

The Bonanzle Booth Auctions take place in the Seller Chat Box. The Auctions that I have attended always had the auction items listed with Lot Numbers in their booth. Then in the Chat Box the Seller conducting the auction tells the Buyers which Lot Number is being auctioned at that time. The Auction proceeds by the Buyers in attendance placing bids until the last bid is placed.
The Seller conducting the auction then asks if anyone else wants to bid. If they do not, the Auction ends with the last Buyer who placed the winning bid purchasing the item. Then the Seller starts the next Auction with another Lot Number. The Seller keeps track of Buyers who win the auctions. The Seller advertises the Auction ahead of time, in the Bonanzle Forums, Twitter and Facebook.
I found this link that gives you step by step instructions for the Bonanzle Booth Auctions. I hope this helps.

the best way i think u can learn about the auctions here at the bonz, is to attend a few like vahorsenut said. peeps havin auctions always post about them in the promote section of the forums. there are some every day/nite of the week here.
they aren’t hard, first one may be nerve racking, but then after, that you’re gonna say, ‘hey, was nothing to it’
you will need to set up a custom category for ‘auction items sold’ or the such.
once you sell an item at the auction, you edit that item, with putting in the title who it was sold to, change the price to sold price and move it to the sold cat….i always have a couple tabs/windows open, one to me booth, the other so i can edit once the item is sold.
wishin u the bestest and just holler if ya need more help….we all help one another as much as we can here :)

Hopefully, Bonanzle customer service can create a video to explain this process.

Good question. I think you have to be in your booth during the auction and you are the auctioneer via your chat window.
I think bidders have to actually be in your booth at the time of the auction.

The link above posted by FindingFriendsFriday has great info on chat box auctions.
You should also go to some of the auctions and see how the different sellers do them.
I have one every Thurs. night and they can be lots of fun and a good way to meet lots of Bonanzlers!

I agree…when I was looking into the possibility of doing one, I decided to go into one and observe incognito, so as not to interfere with the integrity of the auction. I just log out, and then go to the booth where the auction is being held.
Thee are a few folks above my head there who know how they operate from experience. I would go and watch one…

Your should check first to see what other sellers are having auctions that day. Don’t forget to list your auction with and ask her to list your date and [URL removed] [URL removed]
For the first time, I would recommend having another seller assist you.
I am having an auction tomorrow night at 7 P.M. PST, 9 CST, 10 EST. Please stop by and say hello!

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
