Any html experts here? i need help.

Newbie here. Just signed on today. I have a simple, clean html template I use on ebay and another site. When I tried to use it on here and previewed my listing it simply showed all my coding. Can any one help? I tried writing support (was very impressed at the speed they responded) but they just directed me to the page that shows what works and what is filtered. I’m not the most computer literate person so I was lost.

My guess is that you are entering the code into the box

First click on the Source button (upper right corner on editor…scroll a bit over)
Then add the html code
then click on the Source button again…

(Don’t mind the other circle..that was for image and link insertion)

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
