Anything else i could be doing?

So far I have sold one thing back in May. I would like to start generating more sales before I head back to school in the fall. Is there anything else I could be doing to help bring in sales? I list as much as I can (have a batch of 15 items I’m preparing to list), I advertise my items on Google+ and Pinterest, and I tell as many people as I can about Bonanza.

Do any of the seasoned Bonanza sellers know anything more I could do? I currently have 135 items listed for sale and get views, but so far that one sale. Does me selling during the summer season have anything to do with it?

Hi I started last year about same timeing you did, same problem, and this month has been my slowest since, things broke loose when the Christmas in July sign-ups came, and I started inter-reacting with other bonanza booth owners, doing pinterest, and together, for this July holiday special time.

been here going on 6 years..this has got to be the deadest summer so far ever…

I guess I picked a bad time of year to really start building up my inventory, huh?

This is best time to build inventory, tweek listings, etc..so that you are ready for the fall/holidays. It is just not the best time for sales..unless it is swimsuits and summer fun stuff

Sadly I won’t be around during the fall and Holiday season. I’ll be away at school. Whenever I come back I open my booth back up for the time I am Back.

Its always been very slow on Bonanza…I have sold very few items and have close to 400 items listed

not ‘always’…When google changed it’s search engine in about 2013, and changed to have to pay for items to list in GPS…then things really slowed down..before things were starting to pick and take off…..

I have decide this sites not for me. I will be closing my booth around the 15th. I love the communication here, but nothings being done to promote the site. I can spend the same money to increase sales on Ebay. Good luck here!

1. Adding Checkout by Amazon and direct credit card payments as payment methods, if you can.
2. Increasing the font size of the descriptions. I think it is a little hard to read.
3. Using a little more light for your photos.
4. Buying a few things on Bonanza, so you have at least some Bonanza feedback, instead of zero.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck with your sales!

I would like to add more payment methods, but I’d like to research them before I sign up for anything. The text looked fine to me on my desktop. What photos aren’t well lit? I do have some things saves on Bonanza to buy, but I am cutting back on spending overall.

The photos look a little washed out to me, but that may be my personal preference.

I would also combine the < $1.00 items…since the fee for the transactions would cost you more than to sell them, ie, between bonz and pp, the fee would be at least $.80

as Divashack mentioned, June/July are slow retail/online sales months. Come sign up for Christmas in July on Bonanza for great exposure for your store.

Sign ups are open, just click this link.

Seems interesting. I’m not sure if the items I sell are ‘gift’ items, but I’ll give it a try.
