awaiting payment verification from payment provider?

Hello I mistakenly miskeyed my paypal email and got an order on Christmas.I got a message from an admin telling me to fix my email and notify the customer it is now correct.I did this but the customer said they did not get their money back yet. They are going to dispute it. Luckily they are being very understanding about the whole situation. Has this happened to anyone or maybe does Bonanza by chance hold the funds since the email address doesn’t exist?

Bonanza does NOT hold any funds from buyers. All payments made to sellers (whether by PayPal – correctly or incorrectly – or any other payment method) goes directly to the seller. The exception is when you accept credit cards (outside of PayPal)… the credit card processor holds those funds until the item is delivered. Bonanza never gets any payment from buyers.

Whatever email you gave is where the funds went
…if it is an invalid email then you need to check paypal (I would call and see if they are holding funds under the incorrect email and if so have them release them back to the buyer)

..I had someone give the wrong paypal email (for a donation)…and the notice sat in my paypal account that the person never claimed their funds….so the payment was never made…
