Contact the seller..is the fastest/easiest way. Only the seller can cancel the transaction
You can go through the payment processor (ie Paypal, Amazon payments or your credit card) to stop payment, but the seller will probably have shipped before they are notified

Yes, please contact your seller to see if you can agree on cancelling the sale. Communication is the key here on the site and is strongly encouraged.
A seller may cancel a transaction under the following circumstances
The buyer did not pay.
Both the buyer and seller agree to cancel the transaction prior to shipment, and the seller has issued the buyer a full refund.
The seller has decided to refuse service to the buyer, and if the buyer has already paid, the seller has issued a full refund, including shipping (if applicable).
The buyer did not receive the product(s) ordered, even though the seller has provided proof of shipping, and the seller has issued a refund for the item.
The buyer and seller agreed that the buyer could return the item to the seller for a refund. The seller has received the returned item and issued a refund to the buyer for the item.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
