Can i hand deliver rather than ship?

If I get an order from someone that is 5 minutes from my house, can I just drive it over to them rather than mail it? If I can, how do I fill out the mark as shipped section which asks for a tracking number?

Thanks for your help.

just don’t put in the tracking and add a note in the comments

I think the signature of the recipient will be more than enough to proof the delivery.

As long as the date of purchase, listings number, name of the shop owner and the address and name of the buyer are on this receipt.

Do as Cindy suggested above, just remember to mark it later as “shipped”.

This has always been an option here, to actually hand deliver and/or allow pickup, even though it is now in the Legacy options for us old timers…

There is even a seller here that sells locally and has pickup, she only lists to give her customers a chance to look things over before they come by to pick up items….(though she will ship when someone happens to ask for it)…

Just Mark as shipped and make a note..and if you still feel uncomfortable..signed receipt and either scan it or photo it for your records…

And they do not have to go through a payment processor either…they can use the Money Order option and pay you on delivery (what ever method you agree upon)…then you just mark it as paid here…

This is a dicey situation. Not all people are bad but without proof of shipment, the buyer could contest that they did not receive item thru Paypal. Even if you did hand deliver the item, it could also be stolen if left on front porch and you really cant (officially) leave it in their mailbox without postage on it. Hope you did not charge them too much (if anything) for shipping.
