We are having difficulty with a bidder. They purchased a vintage advertisement from us, which was safely delivered (as confirmed by our tracking number). However, they filed a false PayPal dispute for “item not received”. They mistakenly thought they had bought the actual item (not an advertisement). PayPal closed the dispute in our favor, since the listing for the ad was clearly described and pictured as an ad.
Since that time, the bidder has filed another “item not received” dispute with Bonanza. I’ve also been notified four separate times by BonanzaWanda (part of Bonanza customer support) that the bidder is claiming they returned the item to us and wants a refund. We have responded each time to BonanzaWanda explaining that we have not received any return from this bidder. We have contacted the bidder through Bonanza’s messaging system asking for a tracking number for the return, and have received no response.
Could someone from Bonanza support help to close this dispute? The canned messages from BonanzaWanda have been no help. We clearly have lived up to our end of the transaction, and delivered the advertisement the bidder purchased. We can’t provide any sort of refund to the bidder without receiving our advertisement returned to us in the same condition we shipped it. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi vintagepaperads2,
Tomwayne1 is correct. The most important part from your end is to make sure you provide evidence to PayPal that you shipped the item (and any other supporting information). If the buyer claims they returned the item, they will need to provide tracking proof. This is why Bonanza always recommends that sellers (and buyers when returning items) always use a shipment method that provides tracking. If you have any other specific questions about this order, please send our support team an email at support@bonanza.com so one of our agents can pull of the details of the transaction.
Also, to avoid future issues with this buyer, you can prevent them from purchasing from you by following these [URL removed]
1. Click Selling
2. Click Booth Settings
3. Click Payment Options
4. Check “Ignore purchases from these users” and include the buyer’s username
5. Click Save

Just respond to Bonanza with evidence that PayPal ruled in your favor and that the buyer cannot support any claim that they returned the item. Even if the buyer eventually returns it, Bonanza is not involved in the monetary part of the transaction and will probably take no action, or they will back you anyway.
