Under the “Prohibited Items” page, it states that the sale of alcohol is not allowed. But I was wondering if the rules for collectible wine bottles were under the same bracket.
The bottle itself is unopened and signed by Mario Andretti and the wine inside has most likely gone bad. It’s not going to be sold for the wine itself, rather for the signed bottle, but the value of the item decreases drastically if I were to empty the bottle of its contents.
Any insight would be helpful! Thank you in advance

if there is still wine inside of the collectible bottles, I would say it falls under the category of restricted items because even though you would be focused more on the bottles, technically it would still be selling alcohol if the bottles are not empty.

Where is a site that allows collectible liquor bottles unopened to be sold?
I have a whiskey gift set over 20 years old.

I dont think you are allowed to sell any alcohol at all on you need a spirit or liqueor license… I came across this when i had my shop and got fined heavily for it as a plain clothes cop came in and wanted to purchase my bottle i had in the window of a bust of charles dickens…The minute i took his money and wrote him the receipt, he then flashed his badge and demanded to see my license…As i had not got one, the shop was forced to be closed until the license had been done and a fine of 4,000 was inflicted on me…You want the best idea??? DRINK IT!!!!
You need to go to the ATF and get the license…
