I have been away for a couple of months and was about to upload a bunch of new things to my booth when I noticed a new “rating” on my [URL removed] “Delivery Time.” I’ve worked hard to keep my ratings at “zippy” (both email response and shipping) but my Delivery Time says “Quick.” My average delivery time is 2 days, 11 hours. HOLY CARP!!! How much faster do you have to get it there to get zippy? Seems to me the only way to achieve zippy would be to overnight everything. Maybe I’m splitting hairs here, but I’m kind of miffed…and disappointed. Would just marking shipped and not uploading tracking #s mean I wouldn’t get rated and therefore protect my “Quick” rating (before a slow shipment screws me even further)? What about Media Mail? I’ve had some buyers REQUEST that. Seems you’re really in a pickle if you offer that option.

For far away shipments, bad weather or a slow shipping method like media, I would not add the delivery confirmation number, or you can add it so the system doesn’t recognize it. What’s so stupid about the system, is bad sellers can just not add the info and they will never get rated. Also we are being rated for something we have no control over.

Mine is ’Quick". And that is because I had a sale when I had a funeral. And I had spoken with the buyer, offered to refund, etc. I knew it was going to take a few days. Buyer was fine. My average is 1 days, 17 hours, 6 minutes and 41 seconds. I will never add the delivery confirmation number. I can not control what happens with the USPS. I do not think I should get dinged for their performance.

How about [URL removed] I have quick handling and zippy delivery. People receive their items before I even send them out!

I just noticed this as well. My items are custom made and take 2-3 days to produce. This information is clearly stated in each listing. I leave a note with every transaction reminding the buyer of how long it will take to reach them and when it was shipped. Why is Bonanza nitpicking this now? What really annoys me is an email response rating. I usually reply within a couple of hours of a message. My email response speed went from zippy to whatever was considered slow because I didn’t answer a duplicate message from a buyer I had since blocked. So you’d better answer every gosh darn email whether you want to or not, otherwise your rating will get messed up. I was hoping Bonanza would be a good alternative to other sites but I’m not so sure now.
Edited to [URL removed] It looks like they removed email response speed rating. At least it isn’t showing on my page anymore so take what I said with a grain of salt.
