Did you notice the change in "international shipping"?

I recently was happy to have a sale, and then found that it said “Free Shipping” to Canada! Since it was for two items, I was doubly dismayed. I never put in “Free shipping”. I contacted support, and what I was told that they had eliminated " Calculated shipping by USPS", so all my 1700+ listings that had that as a shipping choice, defaulted to no shipping charge.
I had to cancel the sale, and tell the potential buyer that it was a glitch, and there was no “Free Shipping” internationally.
All I could do was batch edit to say NO international shipping. Nearly all my listings fall under the weight for first class shipping, but with Bonz making all these changes, I am afraid to even try to let international buyers have a chance. I can’t afford to give items away…
If anyone has a solution, I would like to hear it.

Unless you have now made changes to your shipping, it now says that Canada (International) has to submit for prior approval for you to add shipping and approve the sale…

I have all my international (Those set for international) as flat rate or prior approval…glad I did…

I am sorry this happened, it shouldn’t have happened without a site wide email/announcement

..but if you want/need help in batch edit to set a flat rate for all your light weight items for international shipping, send a message and I will help you set it up…

I just batch edited to no foreign sales. I hated to do it, but I can’t afford to have Bonz make another change that costs me money & sales.

Not too long ago i had a sale. The shipping cost was supposed to be $3. But it came up free shipping….I shipped it free anyway since it was a smaller item, however, from what i understand is when doing the shipping (domestic) if you put “unspecified shipping type” with a cost to buyer., it will default free shipping! I think someome else mentioned this also. So i had to go thru all my listings and make sure i had 1st class shipping or priority and not “unspecified shipping type”

The shipping for the 12 dollar sale was $10.43 to Canada for me. I couldn’t afford to make it a freebie.

Mine was not international, I dont blame you. I would not have been able to do it either if it were me. luckilyl mine was domestic, but it still should not be coming up as free shipping if a cost to seller is put in.
