Discounts

Has anyone else noticed that suddenly your listings have a price to the right of the listing price with a line through it implying that the listed price is a discount? I never listed the items in my booth with a discount. Why is this happening?

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hello Jonun,

Sharp eye! We are currently running some split tests on the back in an ongoing effort to increase conversions for all merchants. We should get the data we need by week’s end.

We often run such tests so that we can make sure we are taking advantage of every opportunity to get Bonanza sellers as many sales as we can. Thank you for your patience during this time.

Don’t see how this is a good marketing strategy as the so called discounts on some of my items are only for a few cents.

Thank you.

I am going to reconsider whether I want to continue with Bonanza. I like that Bonanza wants to have programs to stimulate sales, but tampering, without permission, with our listings is not one of those.

Agree, There should be no such interference within a seller’s booth.
