This set belonged to my Mom and has been in our family for years. She kept this in a curio cabinet. It is not marked anywhere so I do not know who made it. The sugar bowl measures about 6 1/4" with the creamer at about 6".
I’ve been researching online for hours and cannot find anything like it. It does however resemble a Bavarian style on the handles but I still haven’t come up with anything. I want to list it but have no idea about a price point. Any thoughts?

I’d say the blue flowers are Forget-Me-Nots?
The gold seems to be liquid 22K applied with a brush.
NOT shiny, that’s good!
It’s a very sweet set!

What a beautiful set. It looks similar to some I’ve seen in the local china painters showcase. There are many excellent china painters that do original work. We have a china painters club here in the Bay Area that many belong to.

Hi Jo…a good friend of mine seen this picture and this is what he had to say about it ….
Bavarian inspiring statement it is but difficult to see the floral pattern within your images. The elegant floral pattern appears to be a cross between Marseille to Mignon of bluebells with Pink Roses but cannot be quite certain (yet).
Japan did design Bavaria (copies) by placing a gold embossed sticker on the bottom of their pieces. If there is no hallmarking, do you suppose it may have had a sticker at one time?
We both agree that this set is absolutely beautiful!!!

Jo, it’s lovely, but I’m sorry I can’t help with the maker.
What I do when I cannot name a pattern, is send the pics to replacements.com. I’ve used them on 2 or 3 occasions for silverware, and they’ve come through with pattern name and pricing. The pricing is, of course, what they’d pay you, which is peanuts compared to what they’d resell it for! However, it would possibly give you a name to use to follow up with more research.

It is such a beautiful set. I also agree that the pattern is Mignon of bluebells with Pink Roses. Nice!
