I setup bonanza with a max fees of 16%.
i sold an item today and was charged 50% fees of the selling price, has anyone had their fees increase?

The 50% rate that you were charged is probably due to the fact that there is a minimum charge of 50 cents when selling an item. So, if you have an inexpensive item, it is quite possible that the fee can be that high. For example, selling a $1.00 item results in a 50 cents fee. That works out to be a 50% rate >> ($0.50/1.00) x 100 = 50%
Another example… sell a $3.00 item. The minimum fee of 50 cents works out to be >> ($0.50/$3.00) x 100 = 16.67%

I believe, the MINIMUM fee charged is 50 cents. so if you sold something for lets say $1 even tho at 16% your fee would be 16 cents, you will still be charged the MINIMUM fee of 50 cents. so it would look like you were being charged 50% but you are just being charged the min. amount.
