Facebook posting of my booth

Why when I go in to post at facebook on my fan page is the main pictures that show up now only of other items that I don’t even sell instead of my main picture for my booth like it used to post? It highlights bonanza items I don’t even carry. To me this is a false lure to try to bring them into my stores, when they won’t even find those pics items bonz has showing in those main pictures.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Thank you for bringing this up. This was brought to our attention last week. We are not sure why this is happening. We have not made any changes that we are aware of that would cause this. Our programming team is aware and will be addressing this as soon as time permits. Thanks everyone for your help in identifying this issue.

Alternatively, you may want to try posting the URL to specific items in your booth that may appeal to your followers. That would direct your social traffic to your booth.

I did notice if I did an individual item it would post fine and that only when I tried to submit the booth posting that it would show up. So, I have been doing as you say and only posting my single booth items one at a time.

It is an error on Facebook’s part. I promote daily not only my booth but other projects as well and when you post a link, it will fetch a random photo. So, what you have to do, when you post a link also post a photo of the item you want people to see by using the camera icon and then save the post. I don’t know why FB does that but it is irritating.

Wondering this myself.
New to Bonanza and when that popped up I flat did not know what to do so closed it. Marking.

That is exactly what I did was close it out. I do not want to have items I don’t sell showing in my postings. I want my pic. If they venture once they come into Bonanza I don’t mind. But, I do mind showing items when I post my booth to bring them in and it shows up with items I don’t even carry.

I believe that is a facebook error, fetching the wrong photo…I usually just post the link directly to my page to stop that from happening

I don’t know if you use the Bonanza facebook app, but if you did then a Bonanza Storefront appears on your FB business page.

If not go to this page, click on the blue link at the top that says USE APP

[URL removed]

(I see you have the Bonz app on your page)…

But the fetching of the wrong photo is usually on the facebook side of things

I am posting from my lap top not a phone and it is doing this. It didn’t used to do it, but it does now. I am using google chrome and don’t know if maybe that might be what the issue is. But that is what I used before and it worked fine until about a few weeks ago.

Doesn’t have anything to do with a phone…I always use desktop for store business (actually never use the phone except as a phone)….the app is to put a storefront on your face book business page….and facebook has made recent changes, and everytime they do…capturing the wrong photo happens

also the bonanza storefront app for FB business has been around since 2010…that is when I first put it on my business page
