Followup about "offers"

To those who gave me answers about finding “offers”. this is the message I received in the messages [URL removed]
bonzuser_tqcod A question from bonzuser_tqcod regarding offer #[phone number removed](the user doesn’t have a store….that’s strange?)

I did as you suggested and went to Booth Management/Transactions/Offers and it’s not there. I think the person may be a scam.

My next comment — Bonanza I don’t like this message forum redesign. I can’t reply to the “answers” with more questions and have to open another discussion thread. I just don’t understand how this works.

sounds like they found one of your sold items and asked about it…did you dig around and see if this was an older transaction ID number…

And yes, this forum method essentially allows for question and an answer, with ability to edit answer..it is not conducive to discussion

It’s not strange that the user doesn’t have a store. They are probably new that’s why they have a bonz name. The number does appear to be a newer offer number. I would contact support and see if they can give you answers since they can look at any transactions or offers for your account. You can edit your answers, so if you have more just add to the bottom of your original post, maybe add stars or something in the front so people can see its added info. Bonanza changed the forums because they only want positive posts and they can easily delete from this forum and monitor it closely.

The user joined Bonanza today. They’re located in Seattle. Before assuming it’s a scam, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s possible they thought they had made an offer and did it incorrectly. Is the item number one of your items? Have you replied to the user’s b-mail? If you have questions about it, I’d really suggest contacting support since they can access the records.

In another forum, someone gave me the link to the Order, which I never received the order in my email. I received the message from the buyer and when I went to Offers, there was nothing there. I think what happened is the customer put the item in the cart, but never paid for it — not at Paypal. She made an offer and I accepted. Now I have to figure out how to send an invoice to pay from PP….I don’t have her email.

More [URL removed] It seems I restricted payment in the Booth Management section.

This very well may be what happened.

But even if a buyer could not check out even if you did not have the payment source set up right under your settings, wouldn’t the offer still have come through?

Yes, you do have to have their email address to send an invoice.

Once a while back I made an offer at a seller’s booth. After some time had went by and I did not hear anything back, I emailed the seller in which the seller said he had never received the offer. After it was all said and done I did the offer again and this time he did receive the offer.

It is probably a good idea to email Support though to see if the offer is still sitting there somewhere. If they can find it, then it would be less hassle all the way around I would think….plus then they can check things out to make sure things are okay.

If what you had was a “buyer” with a question, it would appear that you should check your messages for the question – not the transactions.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
