Has anyone else's booth been canceled?

I’ve been selling here since 2009, and now my booth has been terminated due to questionable merchandise. I’ve been selling swords, knives and air-soft guns on this site and now they tell me I can’t sell them. Swords are my top selling item, and now they’ve canceled my whole booth, including non weaponry items. Just wanted to say good bye to everyone, as my run with Bonanza is obviously over. Good luck to everyone.

Wow! I just signed up for Bonanza, as I’m fed up w/ ebay! I have several swords (not listed here yet). I’d like to know the policy . . can we sell them here or not?

That sucks , I can understand why they would cancel it but they should have given you a warning to prepare . I am not familiar with your market but I do see amazon has knives and probably would be a great place for a fresh start . BEST OF LUCK !!!

That’s odd since knives and swords both can also be found on ebay. Did bonanza say it was because of the items you were selling?

sorry to see you go…
I guess someone ‘reported’ you..probably a ‘newer’ competitor seller…however, if you are closed for those items…bonz better get to work as there are a some international drop ship sellers (rather new by the way) selling those items…

Pakistan
India
China

I never understand how anyone can just kill your store
without notice
VERY strange and brash bearing.
IMO this is unreasonable and brazen.

I agree EuropeanGoodies, especially when same items by FOREIGN sellers are still listed here

Its one thing to remove the items in question, but they deleted my whole booth. I’ve sold more swords on here than I have anything. From my understanding, someone reported me. Swords are collectibles. They asked me to report other people that might have questionable merchandise. I’m not about all that. They sent me a b-mail asking me to remove the questionable merchandise, so I went to my booth and, poof, gone. The swords, airsoft guns, and knives, maybe I could understand, but not my Native American jewelry, art, and various other things gone too. I put a lot of time into posting the items to just have them removed. Oh well, I guess all good things come to an end.

Your booth is still here, just shows 0 items in it. You should keep on them till they reopen your booth at least to your other items! Doesn’t make sense. All other sites are allowed to sell those items.

From my experience, it was probably the BB/airsoft guns that caused the rejection of your booth. Check the Batch Editor to see if your items are on “RESERVE” status. If so, simply change the items back to “FOR SALE” after eliminating the BB/airsoft guns.

Happened to me today. I have had various knives listed for a while and had 15 left. I received a message that I had listings pulled.
I just wish they could tell me what listings they have pulled. I am not sure at this point. I just thank God I didn’t have a lot listed in this booth.
Ebay allows pocket knives, so as much I hate the thought…guess I will use my free listings and post them there.
This being the smallest of my Bonanza booths, maybe it is time to just close it.
