I have eBay sync set up. It was my understanding that when it imported from eBay the listings would be “Ready for sale” not “for sale” and we had to activate the listings in the edit page. I guess I was wrong. I just put my Bonanza booth on vacation because it has many listings for sale that were not supposed to be active. Can someone please explain to [URL removed] 1. how eBay sync works, 2. how often it happens so I can quickly deactivate items that should not be for sale here (auctions with bids already). Thank you in advance for responding.

The way that items were imported was recently changed (and confirmed by Bonanza Support). I have the same concern about items going live immediately before a seller has a chance to edit the listings. Hopefully, Bonanza techs can program an option into a seller’s import from ebay that will allow sellers to decide to make the items live immediately or place them into the previous state of “Ready for sale.”
If you can be at your computer when an import is completed, a work-around is to immediately place the items on RESERVE by using the Batch Editor to sort by NEWEST listings. Then, you can change the status of those new items to RESERVED which allows you to edit the items at your convenience and list them when they are ready for Bonanza.
However, under this new import procedure, if you can’t be at your computer when the import is complete, your items are immediately offered for sale.

There is no command to put listings on reserve in the bulk editor. Maybe there used to be? But I don’t see it now.
First time using Bonanza and this is making me change my mind about it.

Having a lot of problems with the Sync Option. When an item is sold elsewhere say on Amazon or Ebay, the items does not get deleted or removed which is causing problems as a seller because a buyer comes a long and purchases an item that is no longer available but the Sync protocol failed to remove the item. I’ve run into this problem nearly weekly.
Any advise or help on how to sync up 1:1 with Ebay and Amazaon?

Ok I searched and searched but can’t find out where you have to go to shut off the ebay auto sync. Can someone tell me where I find this feature to shut off?

- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
