How did I get medium response time for my messages and gradual for my shipping time?
I answer emails very quickly and ship the same day or next day if the mail lady has already come. I just want to understand how this feature works and how can it be so Wrong.
Thank you for helping me understand.
Thank you all for the help.
Seems in 2012 I did not response to a message. Hmm wasn’t this before this added feature? I probably answered through email not bmail. Can we fix this issue with this feature?
As far as the gradual time on shipping is because I did not lie when I sold a promo. I don’t ship promo so I do not feel right saying I do. Hmm Can you boys fix this too. Seems this feature may be a reason buyers are not feeling comfortable enough to make a purchase.
My grade on both should be zippy +…. Or at least give me an opt out. It is not working right…
I sent message to support 2 days ago still waiting for them to fix my time. Where is support response time ratings by the way?

To see the breakdown. Go to your booth, view an item, click on the rating (Zippy, Medium etc) it will show you how each transaction was rated and the time it took to answer an email or ship your package.

Your question prompted me to go check my own rating which has always been Zippy. My shipping time is listed as Zippy because I pride myself on getting the pkg ready as soon as I get notification of sale. However my email response is gradual which I found odd. It was always Zippy. The way you check your response time is to go into your booth and click on the response time for either one. It will bring you to the metrics page. For me I saw that I did not respond in 7 days to 2 messages which I found odd because again as soon as I get a message I take action. Well one was a message that someone had added my item to a collection which I forgot to respond to. HOWEVER, the other was a message from a potential buyer on a very high priced item. I NEVER received this message. It was sent on June 27 according to the metrics and when I check my inbox I have no messages on that day nor at any other time from this buyer. The message is only listed in the metrics that is how I know he was interested in a high priced item. If the system does not work 100% correctly then you should not be graded on it when it is no fault of your own. I am irritated that my rating is below top level, as I pride myself on putting my best face forward so to speak for my customers. But I am outraged that I lost a potential customer because I did not receive a message and have only now found out about it months later.

It would be helpful if there were instructions under the Help pages here on Bonanza on this, showing a seller what it takes to obtain a zippy, quick, gradual depending on the rating for Email response time, Handling time, Delivery time. Also, instructions within our listings once we click on our ratings, maybe just a link to the Help pages explaining the ratings. In order to do really well people are going to need some instructions on what zippy, quick, and gradual mean and not just by coming here to these forums where the instructions may be choppy and instead would be crystal clear every time by the originators who created the ratings and a seller would have instant access to this info. I personally have the habit of forgetting things as I get older, and it sometimes takes a little more time for me to remember a rule about something.

Thank you bonanzamark for you quick response. Now one more question. If I was metric/rating where would I be found?

As to handling time, it is when you mark the item shipped that stops the clock. So even if you ship the same day, you won’t get credit for fast shipping if you mark it shipped three days later.

another glitch? I just checked my response time and shipping time which has always been zippy. I respond by email within hours. What is this about? I also ship within 24 hours! I drive my items to the P.O. which also cuts out a day in some instances. I am not responsible for how long the post office takes to get their item to them.
what is up with your rating system?
