A very kind member told me what these are calledd and what kind of wood they are. That was about 2 months ago, wrote it down and I have lost the note. I believe she said they are German. They only measure 1 1/2 to 2 inches tall, tiny little things but so very cute. Anyone know anything about them?

The Antiques Roadshow also did refer to these as being “A Group of WW2 Critter Bugs Playing Band”…
Ah Jeepers, sure wish I could remember the date the show ran on TV…

Cool, I saw some of these on Antiques Roadshow and could remember WW2 era and Germany was all. Glad you were able to solve this one. They are adorable!!
