How many product images do you add on average to each listing?

I’ve decided to limit myself to 6 images. It will reduce my workload, and help me to list faster. There was a discussion about this before, but I think Bonanza is encouraging sellers to use 6 photos, instead of the 10 or unlimited # that we’ve always had.

I have seen at least 1 statement about “uploading your 6 photos” on the product listing page. Not too long ago, some sellers, including me, were having problems uploading and editing more than 6. Though I haven’t had a problem since then, it’s better for me not to be able to upload unlimited photos. I go crazy with taking product pics, then I have a huge overload of images that need to be processed.

So all is well now with 6 images.

For pantyhose, I usually only take one. The reason being is that if I take a picture of the back of the package, the chance is 50/50 that someone may read the chart wrong since sometimes they can be confusing….so I just say in the listings the weight and height that the hose will fit. If there is an odd color, I do like to take a close up of the color….if you can see it well enough in the package that is.

Anything else though (unless I’m forgetting something), I do not take any max amount of images….just the ones that I feel I need so that the shopper can make an informed purchasing decision.

I usually do not go over 6 images. Once in a while a listing needs more than 6.

i usually only do 6 also. Once in a while if an item has a blemish/defect then I take a couple of closeups of it. Even tho I do have it in the descrition section.

@EmpressDepot That’s an excellent method, Sharon! I like how you sometimes take an extra pic to show special colors. I’m going to work hard from now on to limit myself to 6 pics or less.

@Bargain_Hunters You have a great method too! Limiting your images and taking extras to show any blemishes/defects. It’s time for me to move on from editing 10+ pics per listing. Too much to do, too much work backed up! :)
