How do i get found by google?

Since there is no place to add keywords to your items I put them at the bottom of my item descriptions.
None of my items show up when I do a google search.
How do I get found in searches if there is no place to enter keywords?

I see your items in both google organic searches and in google shopping (GPS) which is under advertising options…your items are there…but I found them by using your words for title and description…

Searching for Abstract Art Shoulder bag picks up other shops that sell similar items…dropping the word abstract..gets you fewer results…

As said before..the first 250 characters of your item description is sent to google..this area should have strong description with keywords for your items

Your titles and those characters should be search words…(lovely, bright, and words like My Original Art, My Original (this word ok) Abstract Art … are not what people use to search for handbags)..You need to think of the words that people will search for…Handbag, shoulder bag, original, art or artistic, design, handcrafted…etc

I would use the term Original Design..simply because then your items would come up when buyers search for original designer handbags.. without the word design, you are not showing in most of the hand bag searches…

Lovely Small Abstract Art Handbag Shoulder Bag Purse My Original Painting….I would change to Something like Handbag shoulder bag purse Original Art Design Abstract..or something like that…

And unfortunately, the printed and shipping from China is going to turn some people away

Here is what I see in Google Organic Search…the red box I put on the screen shot is where you need to have a strong item description/with good search terms…

Thanks for the info! Now to find the time to change everything. I wish I could find another US company to print handbags for me. I like the one I found but they only offer the one style. I love the bags printed in China, but wondered if that was putting people off.

I know it means extra expense, but is there any way for you to have a small supply on hand of some different designs……

You can add search terms update items as group then go to search optimize

I just can’t believe there aren’t more companies in the US that print handbags! I sold quite a few of the made in China bags at etsy, but I want out of etsy!

I would like to know too!!

There have been posts here in the Community about this subject. If you scan through the posts for the past few weeks/months you may find them. Have you searched the subject here in the Community? I believe that it is also recommended, by CCMom, that you make sure that the first 250 characters in your product listing have the most important SEO information.
