There is no set amount of sales to bring in buyers. Buyers purchase items they are looking for, whether a seller has 1 item up or 1000, if you have that one item they are looking for, they will buy it. I have noticed I get more views the more I list but that is juts increasing the odd’s of getting a sale since more people may be interested in your other items.

It really depends more on the type of products you are offering, competitive prices & also there needs to be some variety so your shop will appeal to a wider range of customers. I think as suggested above 100 items or more is preferable & although traffic is low here I choose to take advantage of the free listings & promote whenever possible. I have had consistent sales because I have a wide variety of items offered, all kinds of different products, in many categories. The more items you have listed the more views you will likely get. Another thing I like about Bonanza is that once you post a listing, there is no maintenance, it stays listed forever until it sells or you remove it so its possible to slowly grow inventory over time if you don’t want to commit a lot of time to a low traffic site. But self promotion is key here. Good luck!

I would say it has to do with the products offered. I offer a wide variety of items, so there is more diverse traffic.

I took a look at your booth, it looks very nice. There was a post on this board a short time ago regarding vinyl and how they sell here on Bonanza. That information might help.

Depends on what you sell, and also the selling site. For visitors browsing the site and a seller’s shop, I think a minimum of 3 pages of products to page through is good. The number that will fit on each page is different per listing venue.

To get increasing exposure around the Internet, I’d say 100+ products would be best. The more, the better.
