How to invoice

I’m new to Bonanza I made 3 sales today but can’t find where to invoice for the shipping charge. They bought 3 items with the buy it now and it charged shipping for each one. But it doesn’t coast 10.00 to ship 3 items it costs 3.50.

OK I now see you can’t invoice but what does this mean, do I need to do the following to custom the invoice.

The following instructions only apply if custom invoicing is currently set to enabled in your “Seller Settings” page. To enable it, hover your mouse over the “Account” menu in the upper left-hand corner of any page, select the “Account settings” link, and finally go to the “Seller Settings” tab. On this page you’ll see an option to enable or disable custom invoicing. Without custom invoicing, accepting an order will not allow you to edit the costs on the order (including shipping).

Review invoices in the Seller Settings is [URL removed]

Account Dashboard
Settings
Seller Setting (scroll down the page):

When I approve an order, send the buyer their invoice automatically (don’t prompt me to review the invoice)

This is the option to Custom invoicing in seller [URL removed]
If selected (there is a check box next to this option), you will have to review all orders that come through your booth and approve the invoices.

Many times a buyer will see that there is a delay in their purchase and may move on with out completing the sale.

It would probably be better to just set up your combined items shipping option so that shipping is discounted a certain amount for multi item purchase

Booth Settings
Discounts and Coupons tab

Select the discounts on shipping you think would work best for you (test it if you like…simply by logging out and coming to your booth as a buyer and put things in the cart to see how the shipping works)

I have flat rate shipping…and use this option

Flat Rate [URL removed] Offer a discount for each item after the first when calculating shipping costs for items with flat rate shipping.

Buyers will pay normal shipping costs for the item with the highest flat rate shipping cost.

For each additional item in their [URL removed] subtract
50.0% from the price of each item shipped after the most expensive item.

If that does not work using percentages, you can use the $ options

Buyers will pay normal shipping costs for the item with the highest flat rate shipping cost.

Then For each additional item in their order add/or subtract a $XX amount

If three items in your booth costs the same to ship as one item…then set the options to discount as close to or at 100%

Bonanza was originally set up with the most basic tools to be as quick and as easy as possible, unfortunately (at least in my opinion) that seems to be changing every day..

Personally to keep things moving as smoothly and as quickly as possible
Set up the discount combined item shipping and do NOT select the review each invoice option. You will get more sales that way

Congrats on your sales

Or if they paid with paypal. You can go into your paypal account and refund them the difference in the shipping cost from there.
