How to add a screenshot to your post?

I must be stoopid, I’m not seeing any way to upload an attachment to a post but I see others doing it. I give up, where is it?

to post an image in the forum… place the URL between 2 exclamation points

[URL removed]

This is the URL of your avatar (I right clicked and chose Copy Image URL)

[URL removed]

For the image to show I place it between exclamation points ! URL ! without spaces

![URL removed]

if you have a screen shot…the image has to be uploaded somewhere on the internet…many use some photo hosting site like photobucket…
If it is a quick message for the forums, I sometimes just create an inactive listing, upload photos, right click on them and copy URL and then post to forums

Regardless, the image, whether screen shot of photo has to online somewhere

Here is old forum thread with lots of things that can be done in the forums…most still work

Want Your Typing to Seem Larger than Normal?

Type h2, then a period next to 2, then hit the spacebar and then type your phrase, h2(period)hit space
Will look like this

Did You Want to Try it, go Ahead!
But be sure to hit 2 enters or put 2 return keys between your h2 line and the next line if you don’t want the next line to be as large!

Try these with a period after EVERY number, then a SPACE, then Type and see what happens, too!
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5

This is h1 a period then a space, then type the words.(now hit return 2x, before your next line if you don’t want it large like this h1 is)

This is h2 a period then a space, then type the words, now hit return 2 times before your next line if you want your next line to be normal typing.

This is h3 a period then a space, then type these words.(now hit return 2x, before your next line if you don’t want it large like this h3 is)

This is h4 a period then a space, then type these words.(now hit return 2x, before your next line if you don’t want it like this h4 is)

This is h5 a period then a space, then type these words.(now hit return 2x, before your next line if you don’t want it like this h5 is)

Here’s what You Do TO MAKE A POSTED PIC ALSO A LINK.
RIGHT Click on SAME Pic, but instead of Scrolling to copy image
Scroll and CLICK ON ‘’Copy Link’’ or ‘’Copy Link Location’’
Now Go Back to Forum Posting and TYPE a Colon RIGHT NEXT TO (no
Space) the Exclamation Point.

NOW Right Click with Mouse and Click on Paste, it ALL Should
Look Like This(below the pointy finger is how it should look):
![URL removed]
(An [URL removed] your URL after the COLON will probably NOT say ‘’booths/boothname’’ Like Depicted above, but ~ it’ll be the LINK to the ACTUAL item’s URL)
NOW when you click on SAVE REPLY Green button to the
Right, You SHOULD See not only the Pic, but You Should
Be Able to Hover Your Mouse over it, Click on it
and MAKE SURE it TAKES you to the item!

Keep Trying, You’ll Get it to Work!
FYI ~ ANY picture you attempt to PUT/Place/Show into a Forum must 1st and foremost have a place ONLINE. You cannot put pictures into forums that are merely in your computer they MUST begin with ’’http’’ in other words must be a URL. The same goes for links, they must be ONLINE, not in your computer. Hope this helps someone have FUN with Posting Pics!

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
