Your not alone, it can be very confusing. Here is what I know, perhaps others can help elaborate.
Referral source. This is where you would enter your web address. For example, I purchased the web address (URL) dutchpenny.com and I forward that web address to my Bonanza booth.
When you are purchasing your URL (buy cheap sites from godaddy.com) you can tell godaddy to forward visitors to your booth, but you’ll want to include your referral code at the end of the URL (preceded with ?fref=) i.e. where I tell go daddy to forward my visitors is; [URL removed]
You can see my referral code is R7Zxp, preceded with ?fref=
?fref=R7ZxP
Even if you haven’t purchased a URL, you will still want to use that address when directing customers to your booth to avoid paying selling fees.
Or, perhaps you don’t have a web address, you can still add the
?fref=XXXXX to the end of individual items listing you post on FB, etc. Be sure to replace the XXXXX with your booth referral code.
Pick an item in your booth, and add your complete referral code to the end of the address. i.e.
[URL removed]
Notice I’ve added the referral code to the end. This is the completed web address for using your referral code on FB or where ever.
Hope this helps-
Chad

does this have to be a redirect off of your domain or can it be a redirect off your website from say a category or a view my store on Bonanza link?

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
