I’ve seen some booths with free items that buyers can get for every item purchased or whatever policy is specified. Does anyone think this is a good thing to encourage sales? What kind of items would be good to list as freebies? What do you have listed as a freebie? I was thinking of putting up some pictures I’ve taken that would make great computer wallpapers.

I usually have either stickers or pens as freebies with my business logo on it.

I don’t do freebies because I’m confused about “one freebie per item”.. so if they buy five things they get five freebies?? I wish there was an option for “one freebie per order”.

I put up make up items, like Mary Kay, and Cover girl, and things like that. smaller items that dont weigh much but are new and desirable. I find them usually in lots on clearance in the stores around me. I have not found it to be much of an incentive however, still waiting for sales to come in, it has been awhile.

Gift bags are a good idea. I think there should be a way to offer gift messages and bags as an option for a small fee as well. I did this for a dad sending his daighter in college a gift and he was so greatful. Gave me the idea.

Good ideas! I was confuzzled by this ‘freebies’ incentive myself as well.
