Hello everyone, I am looking to open a small shop of my handmade items. I had a shop on Etsy however I wasn’t happy after 4 years and want to start somewhere new. Does it cost to add listing or just charged once the item is bought? I heard this site was better than Etsy, and I’m hoping its true. Is there any bidding cost or any problems I will have to look forward to if I do consider opening up a shop?

As others above have shared, a booth is free. Some members get confused and sign up for a membership, you DO NOT have to have a membership to sell, if it asks you to pick a payment plan, try it again. All booths are free and probably the best way to go till you see how it is working out for you here.
Its free to list, there are final value fees, but you can lower those by starting to save your “daily 10 reward points” when you get 500 points, i believe it is, you can apply that and it will deduct $1 from your final value fee. I have saved quite a bit using this method, this is one of the great items about Bonanza that other sites dont have.
Good luck to you here and Merry Christmas!

Here’s a good source of information, and should answer your questions. [URL removed] Lots of luck if you join Bonanza!

Free to list, free to have a booth
To start, do not sign up for a paid membership until you are sure things will work for you
There will be a FVF based on how much advertising you choose (for bonanza to send your feed to google shopping, bonanza will have to pay the fee and if your item sells from a click from google shopping you sill be charged in the FVF).
Another fee will be either from Direct Checkout Credit Card fees, PayPal fees, or Amazon Payment fees, depending on which you use. If you Bonz’s shipping service you will have to either pre-load a shipping account from a CC for a fee or pay the CC fee each time for shipping labels (I just use PayPal myself for shipping labels)
I have some older items on etsy which do better there than here…
Good Luck

Hello [URL removed]
Bonanza is a great place to have a free booth shop to start! Some things that I [URL removed] 1) Easy 1-page listing (no going from page to page to complete the listing), 2) Custom categories (even free booth owners can make as many custom cats as needed), 3) Multiple listing images (don’t know if there is a limit, but I’ve added as many as 10).
As ccmom shared, standard-types FVF and money processing fees apply.
Though I have other shops elsewhere, and am working out my brands, I love it here at Bonanza. Lots of help with selling through the well-written and informative blog posts and special articles too.
Welcome and good luck to you!
Sandi
