International order?

I do not currently have international shipping enabled. However, a buyer from the UK with a UK address just placed an order and received free shipping. HOW???? And what do I do? Because I have tried to cancel items in the past and it does not work very well. Thanks!

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi lil_nitelite,

So sorry to hear about the trouble. Make sure that under your “Booth options>Payments & purchases” page you have selected the option for “Shoppers must have a shipping address in my country” selected. Additionally, make sure that your seller settings indicate that you are located in the US. This will prevent any international buyers from completing checkout. If you have additional questions, please contact us using the form below and we will be happy to further assist you.

If you are not set up to ship internationally, look at the offer carefully, it is an OBO (offer) NOT a sale.

Find the invoice or open negotiations..if you do not wish to accept the offer, decline, and or cancel. (this may now be Other Offers…used to be under Negotiations on the old page) (Click mark as unpaid to cancel, if you do not wish deal with it)

If you do, click on the Review Invoice link…add shipping and accept offer. The buyer has to come back and complete checkout…in order for the sale to be completed. I find in many cases they do not come back because international shipping is really way too high. If they do not complete the transaction in a xx period of time, just find the invoice again…under Other Offers, click the mark as unpaid link. (that is all you have to do to cancel)

The system allows those outside of the country to send you an offer…when you do not ship internationally to review them on a case by case basis. In these cases it is best to contact the potential buyer and then decide one way or the other…so as not to miss out on a potential sale

If you are firm on not shipping internationally, then just deny the offer.

Go to my booth options, settings, payments & purchases

You’ll see " Buyers must have a shipping address in my country "

international buyers can still send you an OFFER (OBO)….

Even if, in the shipping settings, it states “I do not ship internationally” ? I STILL have to do that?

I dont believe you have to ship the item if you have you do not ship internationally. I would just go ahead and cancel the order, if they paid via paypal, i would get a copy of the refund # and send it to bonanza. there is a place on your invoice from bonanza, i believe, that says “request a refund”

You don’t have to ship internationally. As others said this was probably an offer not a sale, it would have to wait for seller approval. Just deny and it will be cancelled.
