When someone pays using Amazon the Bonanza system automatically posts the payment information into the sales record. However, when a seller enters the required shipping record information into the Amazon system it does not appear in the Bonanza sales record the same as the payment information does. I found this out many days after shipping an item when Bonanza wrote to me looking for shipping information. Then, when you manually enter it in the Bonanza system it doesn’t even give you an option to indicate what the date was that an item shipped so it erroneously records the date you enter the info in the system as the shipping date which is very confusing and must negatively effect ones ratings.
It doesn’t seem logical to me that the systems would be integrated for payment info but not shipping info so that we have to enter it on two different platforms. Am I missing something here or is it just a flaw in the way the integration has been set up?

With both Amazon and Paypal, the tracking number must be manually entered into Bonanza’s system. With Paypal, however, the tracking info is automatically recorded with the Paypal payment, since it’s the same system. With an Amazon payment, we do need to manually enter the tracking number.

It has always been manual when entering shipping/tracking information, no matter what checkout system the buyer uses…for both here and the payment processor
whether PP/CBA/Credit card/Money Order/ or in the old days google checkout….
And tracking is only recorded to the pp system if you use pp to print the label. Some use other methods (Click n ship, stamps.com or other program)…if not then you will have to enter it to the payment processor also (though for CC here is fine)

I recently had a sale through Amazon and it didn’t show up in Bonanza at all. I just took the item out of my booth so it wouldn’t sell again. I just processed it through Amazon. I was closing down for the holidays, so after the holidays, and when my booth reopens, I will contact them to pay the fees. Was a less than $15 item but I still owe Bonanza. So maybe we are having some Amazon integration problems…?
