Item has shipping fee but listing says free shipping

I purchased an item with free shipping but when the seller approved and sent me the order to checkout it has a shipping fee. I sent a note to the seller but haven’t received a reply. Should I just cancel the order?

If the items are seller approved..they are probably set up that way to add shipping costs to your location…

Some sellers here do not add shipping until they know location and require approval before purchase. It kind of slows down the process

You will have to discuss that with the seller. If no answer then, do not complete checkout and move on…it is your option

And the seller SHOULD HAVE STATED this in their items description that shipping would be added upon approval. If not, I would take that as trying to deceive the buyer. On the other hand, there really is NO Free Shipping…. it is just in the price.

I agree with the answer from CCMom. Try to communicate with the seller. If no response, contact the Bonanaza support team. They answer pretty quickly and can help resolve any issues.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
