Items disapproved by google: now what?

Several days ago, I got a notice that 2 items were disapproved by Google because the “images have not yet been downloaded and processed by Google Shopping.”

It went on to say that it should resolve in 48 hours.

It didn’t.

So today, I have a “What’s New” notice about the same two items. It says to review my feed report.

So, I click on the feed report link and it’s the same statement as the first one above.

There is no explanation of what I need to do to fix the problem. I’ve changed the titles slightly and forced it to re-send, but that did nothing.

So, to [URL removed] it’s telling me that in “most cases” it will clear itself. It didn’t. I have no clue what to do next.

Help!

This won’t help but I had the exact same thing happen a couple weeks ago, I am commenting so I can see the answer.

unfortunately google does not give a reason it rejects listings…I find that the easiest way to fix the situation is to just make a whole new listing and dump the old ones…IF you have all the info (upc, brand, etc) and it is still being rejected, it is best to start over

reasons for rejection could be as simple as an extra space before or after the upc, brand, in title…or some innocuous symbol in the html code…things too hard to really track down

We’ve resubmitted your feed and initiated a new feed status review. You should see results in the next 24 hours. You can review the feed status review results on the same feed diagnostics page linked above.

It may take up to 72 hours for your items to be indexed and appear on Google Shopping’s platform once the listings are reviewed and approved. If your listings are not approved and published in the next 72 hours, please let us know by emailing us at support@bonanza.com. Hope this information helps and thank you again for your post!

Google LOVES to reject little sellers to keep their “house clean” for all the big paying players. They’ll do it for any darned reason they please without flinching. Like ccmom said, a space in the wrong place, or sometimes they don’t like the size of an image – they can spit you out simply because you put a water mark on an image.

Thank you @BonanzaMcKenna.

And just to clarify for @ccmom and @[URL removed] I’m not sure you understood what I was asking. I had no problem understanding WHY there was a problem.

I wanted to know how to fix it. Hence my closing, which included [URL removed]
