Just some general nooby questions

has anyone switched up to the subscriptions? was it worth it? I sold one item after I opened my store and received positive feedback but that does little for search results. Anyone care to share their experiences with bonanza? I went to try the free trial gold membership and it appeared as though it wants to charge me and not give the free membership. So how do you all feel about bonanaza?

They ask for your credit card, then you get 30 days free, if you don’t cancel the
membership before your 30 days are up,then you get charged.
I had a silver membership that I tried for a few months a few years ago, but I canceled it as I only got a few extra sales out of it. I just went back to the free booth with my advertising set at 9%.

Bargain Hunters, do you do any other advertising?

I have a business facebook page, also I pay a couple of different persons to do post on twitter, etc. I also post on graigslist and have found some free on line classfied advertising places that I use.

I don’t get the memberships, since I sell very little of my “niche” items here. However setting up a separate Facebook page that links to your booth does work for advertising.

Yes I do the same thing

I had restarted my booth again last January after several years away, and for 4 months only sold about 40 orders at the basic 3% advertising fee and free booth. I switched to the gold membership about this time last year. In the last year since I changed to 9% and the gold membership, I have over 700 orders, over 1500 total items sold. Much of that is from the 9%, but quite a bit is from the additional features such as sending coupons to customers and wishlists, additional stats to see which items are big traffic getters and why, getting to be featured in Bonz search results, and customizing my booth as a storefront. I pay it annually and just have it charged to my PP debit card, so it is a $290 one time a year charge, so I just had to make sure when it was coming up for a charge that money was in there (and I got my cash back bonus too from PP :) )
I figure if I get a couple sales a week extra then it pays for itself and from what I can see so far it does. Not everyone sells the same stuff though, so try it and see what works for you, just be sure to select the correct monthly or yearly option.
