My items are showing up as "used" on google shopping

Hello, I did a search for my Bonanza items on google shopping and they are showing up as “used”. Any idea what I need to do to correct this? Anybody else noticed this? All my items are new…I make them myself.

When condition is not entered on the listing, the default sent to google is used. Somehow you are going to have to enter the condition New. If it’s not an option on the listing form, then you can go to batch edit and add it under search optimization. If it is an option for condition when you add your items, then you can edit the items and for future items make sure you add it when listing.

since you are the one that manufactures your items you can assign them a MPN

I just spent several days going through my attributes, checking them, and correcting when necessary. Here’s what you need to [URL removed]

Go to Batch Edit – Search Optimize
For all items that are showing as used when they should be [URL removed]
[URL removed] [[[URL removed]
[URL removed] [[[URL removed]
If there are a lot of them, you can select all the ones that need changing and do it all at once.

At the same time, you should check any that are showing identifier_[URL removed] and if identifiers DO exist, add them in to get rid of that designation.

Hope that [URL removed]

Just noticed you said your things were handmade. I that case, the identifier_[URL removed] designation would be correct – you don’t have any mpn or upc for them.

Thanks for the answers! I added [[[URL removed] to all my listings. Do I neede to send that new information to google somehow? Thanks!!

Nevermind, I see the “used” designation is already gone on the google shopping search. Thanks for your help!!

I am having the same problem, I have over 1800 listings and they are also showing “Used” condition. None of the suggestions I have tried here has worked for me.

On my ePatterns I just have my

[URL removed] New
Brand [URL removed] MKD Original Designs
Country of [URL removed] United States

When I had actual to-mail items in my shop (I’m on extended leave at the moment so only ePatterns are up), I used my own product number on my spreadsheet as my MPN. One number for each main category of item(s) [URL removed] MKD-SSB for Soap Sachet Bags – or – MKD-BCC for Bottle Can Cozies. I’d deal with color or any fiber designation elsewhere on the selling form and on my spreadsheets. The MKD is my registered DBA brand for MKDesigner.

Worked well for me. Everything in my booth is showing “New” right now on Google shopping, did a random check.
