When I order and pay through Pay Pal the item comes up as sold. However what happens if the seller does not acknowledge the purchase? How does one get the money back? Is there a time limit for the seller to acknowledge one’s order. I always get an order number from Pay Pal but what if the seller does not come through and send the items? I do not want Pay Pal sending money to a seller who does not deliver the goods. Thank you for your time and considerations.

You need to request a refund through Paypal, if you paid through them. No specific time limit that I am aware of, but good business practice would expect an acknowledgement within a day or two (even sooner in most cases), unless there are extenuating circumstances, ie weather and health issues. You might try messaging the seller through their booth page.

How long ago was the order placed? you did not receive an email (since often emails are automatically sent out with orders that is why I ask) from the seller or any communication at all? technically there is no established time frame or limit for a seller to acknowledge a sale it is up to each individual seller the expediency with which they choose to process their sales but Bonanza does rate the amount of time it takes sellers to respond to emails & messages, ship orders, etc., so taking a while will impact that. I would send a message on here if they do not respond you can open a dispute if the seller does not communicate however it would be odd if they did not. you can probably also open a PayPal dispute if the payment has already been processed. Please note the seller can wait 1 or 2 business days for a payment to clear before shipping an order, but it wouldn’t explain not communicating with a buyer. not to worry though there are steps you can take if a seller does not ship an order or there are other issues. if it has been several days & you are unable to communicate with the seller you can open a dispute on Bonanza at the top of the page click where it says help click on visit the help center, it will ask what the question is regarding, select buying, next step one of the options is an item I bought, 3rd & last section has an option report a seller & did not receive my item. that is how to open a dispute on here. from this point you should receive follow up communication, like from Bonanza, regarding what the seller has to do to resolve the issue, sorry to hear you are having an unpleasant experience though, hope this helps & good luck!!

First, how long ago did you place the order?
Next, have you contacted the seller?
You can also see when the seller last logged into the site. Go to their profile, hit on that, and you will see their join date and next to that it will say “Active” that is the last time they checked into the site.
If it has been awile, and if you did not receive a tracking number or a reply from the seller, I would contact paypal and file a dispute. That would be the best thing to do.
And if you order again, next time, just send a general question to the seller to see how long it takes for the seller to contact you back, that is usually a good indication of how they will take to ship an order out.
Good luck, hope you get your item. Let us know how it goes.
