Recently i have been seeing people wish list some of my items.
Seems that it is a given size or item, that is similar .
But what confuses me is they may have been only on the site 1 or 2 days and they have thousands of things in there wish list.
How is this possible and why are they doing it.
Thanks
Jenn

There are multiple reasons why someone would wish list an item. One being the obvious that they like it and at some point want to come back to purchase it, or they really want someone else to buy it for them. Many sellers wish list items when they are considering making a hand picked list but aren’t quite ready to make it yet. Once a list is started they time out, so adding an item to a your wish list basically marks it so they can find it later. Another possibility is that they are watching your item to see if it sells, perhaps they have a similar item they are thinking of listing.
I have no knowledge as to whether or not there is a limit to the number of items a person can add to a wish list. As to how can they do it’s really simple to add something to your own wish list since there is a button just under the one that says Add to Cart, that says Add to Wish list.
I hope this helps answer your questions. I suppose if you want to pursue the matter you could send the party a b-mail saying you had noticed they wish listed your items and give them an incentive to purchase the item that they wish listed. I’ve had sellers do that when I’ve wish listed an item and I’ll write them back letting them know I had marked it for later use in a hand picked list or thanked them and let them know I either didn’t have the money to buy it when I found it, or was marking it for a possible gift later. I guess normally I would look at it like this, if they’ve wish listed your item it’s mostly a good thing.

I have had the same thing – someone from Brazil. They have like 125 items in their wish list!

I also have had the same thing. My “person” has only been a member for 1 day and has over 12,000 items in their wish list. They haven’t logged in today that it showed. Thank you for bringing it up, I thought it was suspicious also.

That sounds strange to have thousands of items in a wish list, much less than all in one day.
I wonder if they are linking your item listing to a different selling site? Hot linking I think they called it a few years ago.
I would email support about this just to be on the safe side.
