Postings in u.s. dollars?

Canadian seller here. Quick question, is my item listed in U.S. dollars? (and then converted to Canadian when it sells?)

Hi edgyquinte,

Thank you for writing and welcome to Bonanza! All prices on Bonanza must be listed in US dollars. After that, they will display to each user in the currency for their location set by their Internet Service Provider. You can change the currency in which prices are displayed for you at any time by scrolling to the bottom of any page and clicking the location/currency link. Be sure to save any changes you make.

If you have any other questions, please let us know at our support department and we’ll be happy to assist.

This actually answered the question I came to ask – it isn’t obvious that that link at the bottom of the page does something. Prices were being shown to me in GPB (my ISP doesn’t think I’m in GB). MHO, that should be included in options / preferences / somewhere users will LOOK for it. 2¢

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
