Re: payment of silver pro

I have been watching the promotion for the silver pro membership for months now, and decided yesterday to “move up”. I bought it this morning thinking I would have a month free to see if it helped my sales. I used my Pay Pal account, and low and behold it charged my account immediately, I was told later that you do not get the free month if you use Pay Pal. I thought Pay Pal was the easy way to go, for me and for Bonanza. Guess I was really wrong. Now I am canceling the membership.

Oh, wow, really? Hm. Paypal would be the only way I would pay to upgrade and that’s a shame. It really is not fair to do that. Thanks for the heads up on it. I was considering upgrading as well.

Did you ever have a paid membership, either gold or silver, at any point in the past, even briefly? If so, you are not eligible for the free month. That’s what I have read when this has come up in the past.

Never had a paid membership, from what I understand this applies to PayPal payment.

Ive been with Bonz since the beginning and have thought it was always very clear and fair. maybe a note to Mark or someone in support will get you the answers you need to make your decision.. and I agree with loves_birds for $10.00 if it increased your sales.. ? just sayin.. have a great night

You could use your paypal account but process it as a credit card. Not as your balance (even though that is what it is). That might work.

I can’t understand why anyone would cancel it for ten bucks. If a seller thought it was beneficial, based on observations, isn’t it still beneficial, even if we didn’t get a free month? Everyone can do as they please, but Bonanza gives everyone an online storefront for free up until the time the seller subscribes to a membership plan. Not a bad deal for ten bucks.

I have supported Bonanza for many years, with very few sales, I think this should have been made clear before I paid with PayPal.

It seems Bonanza has never been very “clear” on much of anything
