Is it easy to ship from home in the US to England and Great Britain, or does it have to be done at the post office?
Thanks for your help!

I use paypal for all of my shipping , there is some restriction I believe but for the most part I have not had any problems shipping international . Plus you will get discount by using them , post office rates are higher if you ship out from one of there actual stores .

As long as you have the correct forms you can do it all from home. I have been shipping overseas for 15 years and being disabled find it difficult to get into Post Office. You can order customs forms online at USPS, they will be shipped to you, without this form you will have to go in to get it. You can also order the plastic cover that attaches the customs form to your package. It’s all free but you do need both items before you can mail to any country overseas.
Other than that it is just as easy to mail overseas as it is domestic.
Hope this helps

Yes, I think its easy. I go to USPS and you can ship international online there, if you get a sale here, just copy the address into the USPS site.

You can also go online to find postal regulations for specific countries. Some require a receipt taped to the outside of the package for customs.

I asked at Etsy also, and was told that Etsy shipping provides a customs form when needed. Is a customs form needed for ANY international shipping? Or only to certain countries? Does PPal also provide customs forms? I shipped to France once, but did it at the USPS store, and had to fill out a customs form.
